Day 1 of Teaching - Krystle

Well today was the first day that Kirsten, Megan, and I were at Maple Mountain High. It was a great expereince! The lesson went really well. One of the things that we found that with only eight students things move really fast. We knew that things would be quicker with such a small class but I don't think that we anticipated how fast we would move through the lesson. Our lesson was a little short but we were able to expound and use the remaining time well. Because there were three of us teaching we were able to add to our lesson even though it wasn't what we had orignally planned for. This helped us to know what things we needed for our future lessons. Because it's such a small class there is so much more that we can do with them. The students seemed to trust us and they listened. They all participated and helped us get to know them. It was interesting teaching with two other people. I have only either taught by myself or with one other person. It was nice to be with two others because we each had something to contribute and were able to divide the lesson equally.
